Who is surprised that LSE is the most oversubscribed university here in the UK? lol

Very interesting!

Just remember that although the RGs are all very good universities, there are plenty of Honourable Non-RG unis out there who are equally as high-performing for some subjects:

Lancaster
Loughborough
Bath
St Andrews
Sussex
Stirling
Strathclyde
Reading
Swansea

So make sure to visit a variety and go on course/vibe/your own preferences not RG status!

Data from the end of the 2023 cycle.

And all of these stats are a bit silly as they wont tell you how many of these 'applications' were never actually viable - how many applied with ludicrously low predictions, having not taken the right subjects, without the right GCSE grades etc etc - and for which courses?

And what does 'accepted' mean? Made an offer? Picked it as their Firm? Got the grades in August? Walked through the door in September?

All in all, its essentially meaningless.

PS. And another more recent but equally meaningless Tab 'headline' - Russell Group unis that went down in the World University Rankings

PPS. And this one - The easiest UK universities to nab an offer from in 2025, revealed
