Life cycle of plants based on their classification
Plant life cycles are classified into three types:
bryophytes (mosses),
pteridophytes (ferns),
and
gymnosperms (conifers).

Bryophytes produce gametes, which are then fertilized by spores, releasing spores.

Gymnosperms, on the other hand, produce seeds but no flowers, and are pollinated by wind.

Angiosperms, on the other hand, produce flowers and fruits, and are the most diverse group with various pollination methods.
