Hello, just a question.
I was wondering what universities i’d definitely have a realistic chance for getting into for a law degree (russell group only)
My current stats:
I’m taking Geography, Government and politics and History as A levels (being as I heard they care about the subjects you take apparently)
My current extracurriculars are:
Read numerous law related books, took part in a law related essay competition, debated in a youth parliament and lead my secondary schools’ debate club (debating if i should even include that because it was only done in secondary school lol)
I come from a deprived postcode, so I heard that allows me to have a contextualised offer. I will also take the LNAT, but I only just started year 12 so I haven’t done it yet. Extracurriculars build up is also in development because again, i’m only in year 12.
My GCSEs are also:
A*A*A*AAAAAABBBC my only C is in physics 😅
So I’m just wondering, will I have a good shot at maybe Bristol or Warwick law? perhaps even Oxford? (although I’m not that keen on Oxford since I heard that only really helps if you want to be in a magic circle law firm. I refuse to work the long hours)
Please give me advice. I am also worried over if my A level subjects are good enough or not or if my GCSEs are going to set me back.
So say if I have an above average LNAT and A*A*A or A*A*A* in my A levels - what university can I most realistically get in for law?
Give me opinions!
