Was it like paper 1 or paper 2 you found more difficult? Anyway good luck... also like what is time pressure or just like really diificult questions?

heard its a lot of stats and prob, does that mean theres a lesser emphasis on calculus and series and sequences and whatnot? Also, assuming all the logic stuff for p2 is harder than ever right? the negations and necc and sufficient stuff

I found it quite alright. A few questions here and there, but I made maybe 1 error due to a silly mistake (I think) so not too bad. I think I can get a 33-36/40 depending upon my luck, but one thing that was kind of annoying was that I constantly ran out of time and barely finished both papers, meaning that I had basically under a minute to revise all my answers. I think it was largely down to exam nerves, because sitting here at home and analysing, I could've gotten at least 2 more questions right if I was a bit calmer under pressure.

I don't think there was much probability to be honest, I only had 1 question from it. There were at least 3-4 on sequences and series however.

Honest question, did anyone manage to make it to the 20th questions and solve them properly?

I found paper 2 pretty easy and i finished with like 20 mins to check everything, i think i got a pretty high score (15-19) on that if i didnt make many mistakes. But i found paper 1 pretty hard like i had to guess 5 questions bc of time to spend on others maybe got like 11-15 on that depending on my luck, hopefully ive done enough for imperial cs.

How would u guys say it compared to 2023 paper difficulty or any of the custom made mocks?

I found it easier than paper 1 too but still only just finished on time. I think I had some time to solve the last question a bit at least to gain some idea of what options it could be, which is better than P1 where I just completely guessed the last one basically.

Out of all the mocks you’ve done, in terms of difficulty, which years paper compared the most with this one?

Honestly it was probably similar to 2023/2022 in level.

For paper 2 I was able to, but timing for paper 1 was 😥

i normally get like around 24/40 in the past papers but honestly ill be lucky if i even get 15. I found it so bad. I took it to see if i could do well enough in it to apply to top schools for maths because i average an A* in maths and further maths but it was so much worse in my opinion than in past years so i doubt im gonna end up applying. I think bath is still good to apply to tho because they dont consider the tmua so it shouldn't affect my chances hopefully. The questions just seemed a lot less straight forward so i couldn't think what to do

Have no clue how I’ve done, could’ve got 12 or 30, never know with the TMUA

It was quite challenging but not too insane. Very wordy yet vague questions at the same time - the whole of Paper 1 was like a bunch of Q11's to Q15's (I guess that's the best way to describe it). Paper 2 was quite easier as I practised a lot of logic/counterexamples sort of questions, but still quite challenging.

I was a bit confused though because I saw on other platforms when people were talking about the paper, they were talking about questions that I don't even remember on the paper?! Really confusing stuff. I heard somewhere that people get different sets of questions for their TMUA, but I wasn't too sure on that. Maybe because I did it on Tuesday 14th whereas most did it on Monday 13th? I don't know. But I somehow enjoyed the test overall 🔥

Found paper 1 difficult because I was faffing about with the whiteboard they gave me to take notes, did everyone else have whiteboards? It was terrible and wasted time wiping it repeatedly when ran out of room.
Also had so uncomfortable ear plugs to block out all the noise from driving theory tests going in and out of the room.
Paper 2 was better, but still struggled with it all. I'm worried as I was getting 15/20 every time in practice papers.
Feeling a bit disappointed with Pearson Vue and UAT and the set up. Not sure I've done enough now.
Did everyone have the same issues as me?

Hi, Lots of hard questions got leaked on Reddit on 13th october though the post was deleted after couple of hours. And same questions appeared on the test on 14th october for majority of my friends. Those who have done it on first day please complain if you don't want to loose a chance to your dream uni.

on a different note, I found paper 1 was okay but paper 2 was a lot harder. And as I said my friends who did it on 14th found it easy after questions leak. This is not fair. I don't understand why people start discussing the questions on online platforms as soon as they are out of the exam. putting their feet on the axe

I sat it last year and compared to 2024 it was EASY. WORST PAPER IN MY LIFE LAST YEAR, GAVE UP AND CRIED. although I think hard questions in paper 1 were quite hard this year. I feel like they didn't really cover much of the spec though. A lot of the same types of questions again and again.

I didn't know about the leak that's awful. People literally messing up their own chances. I don't know if UAT will be able to take any action this year but last year something occurred in China and people involved were I think disqualified
