Y12 GYG - Journey to Oxford Law

Hi everyone!!
Thought I'd start a GYG because it's great to document to be able to hold myself accountable (better late than never )
I'm aiming to get into Oxford Law so if anyone's looking to do the same, or achieved that, please reach out!

My GCSE grades were 9888887776 - not the best cause lowkey I never locked in - but I hope they wont drag me down too much

My subjects at A-levels: Bio, Chem, Religious Studies & Psychology (can you tell I wanted to go into med  )
I'm looking to drop either chemistry or psychology ( but based on asking for advice in a previous post, it's looking like I may drop chem )
So far, I'm enjoying all of them a lot - RS is taking the cake rn tho

Current productivity tactics
I've been trying to stay on top all of my work (with tutoring as well) by staying everyday after school to study, which has been great, but I've gotten a small cold and fallen behind so I'm going to use today to catch up on everything
I use the app YPT to track all of my work, it's great because you can create groups and see how everyone else is studying + analytics - it also blocks the apps that aren't relevant to studying
I prefer it to flora because I can't deal with the stress of my trees dying if I leave the app at all
for task tracking, I use an app called Tweek which I absolutely love

Study Tracker
I'm using an app called YPT to track my additional studying, so if anyone would like to join my study group "the forum grind" , here's the link - https://link.yeolpumta.com/P3R5cGU9Z3JvdXBJbnZpdGUmaWQ9NTYxNjc4MA==
the password is: growourgrades3000
alongside having your subjects registered on the app, I'd recommend having a subject registered under your target course ie. Law / Med etc.
if you want to join (which would be awesome) - i'd recommend putting your target course and uni in the chat + update your achieved and predicted grades in your bio

Supercurriculars
Lowkey, I haven't really done much.

I've submitted an article to my school's law and politics journal

Submitted applications to be an editor for other external law journals

I'm going to start reading some law related books - if anyone has any recs, drop them below

I read articles on The Student Lawyer

Yeah, not sure what else to say.
I don't know how often to update this - probably weekly or every half-term - next ed will probably include study stats and maybe grades (depending on when I post it)

hopefully you guys enjoyed this
see you soon!
