Bristol Offers Lead time?

I'm an early applicant and my application was sent today including Bristol for CS. I heard Bristol gives out offers early and hoping that will be the case for me. When should I be expecting an offer 🤞 (or rejection)?

Everyone I know, including myself, have heard back from Bristol within a week of applying. Might not always be the case, and for some people all they find out is the "decision has been put on hold" which pretty much just means you won't hear back until around March I think. But the norm I believe is to get an offer or rejection within a week

I don't think it's the case to expect an offer within a week. See this thread.

Edit: Just realised that threat is rather old. Regardless, I have applied this cycle and got put on hold ~a month after sending my application off.

Anytime between a couple of days to next May.

Each course has a different timetable and process - and there is no 'I'm must be extra-special' agenda at work. Whenever you get an offer, Bristol still wants you.

And being on Hold means simply that they have read your application - that is all, so don't waste your time trying to read anything else into it. Application decisions | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol

Oh that's odd. I haven't talked to anyone who waited that long. @VedGandhe keep this in mind, it seems I might be wrong lol

Actually when did you submit your application? Because I assume they don't make many decisions too soon before the October deadline, and that might be why
