Physio interviews

How long would a interview for Physiotherapy last or for any courses that required an interview?

It will depend on the interview format that a uni uses. Some unis do face-to-face interviews online, others MMIs and some require you to attend in person and do group tasks. My YP's face-to-face interviews for a healthcare course (not physio) averaged between 10-20 minutes.

Consider kicking off the conversation in this year's physio applicants thread, and then others will join in and share their experiences:

Hey there 👋

My name is Siobhan and I’m a recent physiotherapy graduate from the University of Lancashire 🎓

This is a great question! From my experience of doing interviews for the course I can say that it really depends on which university you are doing it for.

Some universities just do a one to one interview, whilst some do group tasks and written tasks. Some might do a combination of all of them! My interview for the this uni took me around 1 and a half to 2 hours ish which i would say is the average but be prepared to book out a whole afternoon or day sometimes. Each uni will be changing them every now and then as well so be aware of that 😊

Sorry if it hasn’t answered your question the way you want, but you could always ring up the university you are thinking of applying to and ask about this if you need to book tie off in advance.

If you have any more questions then just let me know and good luck!

Siobhan (University of Lancashire)
