The fact that u are assuming high predictions… already shows a bit of a bluff but in your best belief of 0.01% chance of you getting an all A* sets of predictions, you can basically get in anywhere besides LSE and oxford since you got no 9s and got a 5 which is not very ideal for those two. But for cambridge, it’s absolutely fine.

You need to go to some University Open Days this year and listen to the subject/course presentations - because not all Econ / Maths courses are the same. And as you have only just started A levels, assuming 'high grades' is a bit presumptuous.

I am just saying as a what if scenario , but if the 5 was in a language are my chances for LSE impossible ?

Hi,

We offer a variety of economics courses at Reading via our triple accredited Henley Business School.

Our BSC Economics course at Henley Business School really stands out for how it connects theory with real-world issues, we are passionate about getting students ready for work.

Real life research from the department has even influenced global organisations like the UN and the World Bank, which shows how practical and relevant it is.

You will get to explore areas such as climate change, finance, and urban development, and that there’s a strong focus on discussion through small tutorials and events like Economics Conversations.

The placement and study abroad options also make it a great opportunity to gain real experience and build connections beyond the classroom, through are dedicated and personable HBS careers team who can support with CVs and 121 guidance, they also host fairs with employers to secure placements and work experience opportunities alongside grad roles.

Our trading simulation ICMA Center is also a highlight this is open to mainly our finance students, sometimes our economics students too, there is also a society which you get involved and use the centre, being it relevant to your degree.
