Urgent opinion on which college for maths

I cannot decide on college choice for maths. I don't mind where I go I just really want to study maths there (I only saw 2 colleges on the open day after the faculty talk). Does anyone with some knowledge of colleges or maths have any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm also a maths applicant, applying to Emmanuel. To be completely honest, I highly doubt there's any significant difference in teaching between colleges. If you want to be surrounded by people studying your course, find colleges that admit higher proportions of maths students. I assume the statistics on that are out there somewhere.

If you care about reputation at all, Trinity is the obvious stand-out. Out of your 3, St John's is almost on par with Trinity from what I've heard.

Ultimately though, your college choice won't affect your course. What your college choice will affect is the rooms available to you, the cost of rent, the cost and quality of food, the size of gardens/quads, whether or not you have access to a gym, a pool, or other sports/leisure facilities, and what kind of architecture you'll he surrounded by. So those should really be the deciding factors.

Good luck with your application!
