Help pick my last option

Hii, I’m in yr13 and I have to submit my ucas in like 2 days. I’m debating whether to switch my options or add on a last, at the moment my list is kings, Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham. I am applying for neuroscience but they’re all different course titles. I am eligible for contextual offers from kings and Bristol. At king this brings my offer from AAA to AAC and at Bristol it would be either A*AA to AAB or AAA to ABB depending on which course I go for. I’m debating between putting one of the Bristol options instead of UCL which is my dream uni and is what I initially put. My school is going to predict me AAA but my teachers currently think i will get ABB, is it a risk to put UCL or should I got for it?

You don't have to submit all 5 at the same time.

So when would I put the last?

Whenever you like. But preferably before the equal consideration deadline!

While that’s a good idea, I’m not sure I’ll be any more confident in my ability by January and I’d like to get this out the way by the end of the week so that I can focus on other things.
UCL asks for AAA for their neuroscience programme, so you have a chance to get an offer. Although obviously entry to UCL is competitive and not guaranteed. Really it's up to you if you want to take the risk. You say it's your dream uni, so why don't you try? Although as the poster above said, you do have until January to submit your choices, which is a good idea if you're unsure now. It literally takes a minute to add it onto UCAS and you can just think about it in the background for now, without it taking much of your time.

Look at Unis that are less competitive - they are far more likely to be forgiving on Results Day if you miss the offer.

Biological Sciences (Neuroscience) BSc | University of Leicester
BSc Psychology with Neuroscience - 2026/27 (Reading)
