can I reject a confirmed place that I'm holding on UCAS and how?

I finally built up the courage to submit my new application, but I need to reject / withdraw from my old one, and I don't know how. Is there a button I click on UCAS? Do I need to contact the uni? Thank you

As its 'last year's application' you will need to phone the relevant Uni for them to withdraw the place - don't worry they wont make it embarrassing, Unis are well used to this.

Ok thank you so much. Will I need to do this before I submit my application for this year?

Yes, you have to Withdraw before you can reapply.
You cannot hold a place and reapply.

1.

Log in to UCAS Hub.

2.

Go to your list of choices.

3.

If you’ve received an offer, you’ll have an option to “Decline” it once your reply deadline comes.

4.

If you’ve not yet replied to your offers, you can just wait and respond once all decisions are in.

But if you have accepted an offer and want to cancel it entirely to start over or apply elsewhere, you may need to:

Call or email the university admissions team directly.

Or, contact UCAS Customer Support for help managing that decision.

This does not apply to cancelling last's years offers/confirmed places.
For that you need to contact the University itself for them to cancel your place.
