can I get into LSE A&F with an econ ps??

title says it all, I have grades above the requirements; A*A*Aa , (maths, chem , econ, FM), gcses are good 9999999887

The reason im applying with an econ ps is that for all my other slots im going to choose econ degrees (specifically warwick & UCL) since I prefer econ, i cant apply for LSE econ since i dont have the full FM, so hence A&F

I know A&F is still quite competitive; i have got some stuff on finance work experiences, but the rest is literally about Economics & econometrics, do i have a decent chance, or am i better off applying for something more econ based like imperial EFDS??

Thanks

Probably not.

LSE likes it when you have a nice, tailored personal statement specifically for them, and if you just talk about economics, they will probably be able to tell that you are applying to economics elsewhere.
I would focus more on having a nice spread of choices e.g. 1-2 reaches, 2-3 targets and a safety.

reaches dont really exist in econ since most requirements are A*AA, but if were looking grade wise, UCL & Imperial have an average of A*A*A* so their reaches. warwicks avg is A*A*A so thats a target, LSEs A&F avg is AAA, so thats a target as well,

About the PS, is talking about finance work experiences good?, and the role of financial instututions in an econmy?

I typically factor in the acceptance rate of the university rather than their average offer, but I guess they do go hand in hand for cases such as imperial. With LSE, the offer is low, but the amount of offers they give are also low relative to others.

Your PS should be as the name suggests: personal. Why do financial institutions matter to you?
