What age range would likely be interested?

At age 36 I know women aged 20 - 25 would now likely find me repulsive. But what age range could a man this age date and not have to filter out on dating apps etc?

I've known two sets of couples have a relationship which is 10 years apart, one of them got married last year (from my workplace) and was a complete surprise to us all.
but a date range would be anything upto 5 years younger. (warning: I've never used dating apps).

Set whatever age range you want. However, you are most likely to match with women with a similar age to you.

Are you repulsive?

The likes of Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are only a couple of years younger than you, and I'm sure a lot of 20-25 year olds would jump at the chance to date either one of them (yes, I know they're celebrities, my point is how you look & present yourself are perhaps more important factors). For sure, some of them would be put off by your age, but others would consider you if they thought you were attractive. Furthermore, your age would be less relevant if you're looking for a hook-up or FB/FWB type arrangements, compared to a meaningful relationship. Either way, I think having a rubbish profile with bad / unflattering photos would be more detrimental to your dating success than your chronological age. Do you have your s*** together? Do you have a decent job? Do you have your own place? etc.

I reckon you're only gonna look like a creep / perve if you specifically stated that you were looking for people who were very young (e.g. aged 18-21)… but at age 25, you're pretty much accepted as a fully grown adult. Even by the rule, 25 is an acceptable age for you
