My visa status is skilled dependent,

I am currently in the UK under a Skilled Worker Dependent visa and have been residing here for the past 3 years and 10 months. I have recently received an unconditional offer to study the MSc in Construction Project and Cost Management with Coventry University Online.

I would like to know if I am eligible for any form of student finance or if there are alternative funding options available to support my studies.

I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Hi Shahul,

Normally, to be eligible for student finance you need to have Pre-Settled or Settled Status/Indefinite Leave to remain.

Do you have any UK or EU family members living in the UK at the moment?

I’ve heard that some construction-related charities, they may offer support or educational loans to students in this field. I would be grateful if you could advise whether such options are available, or if you could recommend any relevant organisations that support students pursuing construction studies.
