MSc pre reg course on SFE

Hi there,

I’m looking to start an Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) MSc at the University of Liverpool.

I want to get started on my student finance application but it is not appearing as a course option in the search.

Did anyone find a resolution to this?

Hi there,

When does your course begin? On our database for the University of Liverpool, the only course that matches this begins in January 2026.

When you are applying are you applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course? To confirm it is the 2 year course starting in January 2026?

yes that is the one I am in the process for at the moment! But can’t seem to find it in the system when selecting the course?

Pre-reg masters courses receive undergraduate funding and it is my understanding that you need to apply through the undergraduate route on SFE. A rep will confirm if this is the case.

Okay, it sound like you may have made a Postgraduate application is that right?

If so, you just need to cancel that and then re-apply for undergraduate funding: the course should then appear just fine.
