Predicted grades

Hi everyone I really want to apply to Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield and Bath for MPharm but the entry is AAB and I’m predicted ABB. What are my chances looking like for getting an offer? Will they consider me? Has anyone else applied with these predicted grades and got a offer
I will also apply to a uni that matches my ABB as a 5th but haven’t decided where yet.
Also not eligible for contextual offers.
Thank you

Hi Krish2000, 👋

Those are all great choices! I can't speak personally regarding MPharm, BUT I can say that in my experience Sheffield has been quite lenient with grades if you put them as your firm choice. Both my partner (ChemEng) and I (EngLit) applied for Sheffield as our firm choice and even though we both didn't quite meet the grade requirements, we were still offered the place!

So it is definitely worth trying, esp if you're really interested in those choices. Plus you never know you might surprise yourself on results day. But yeah, I would say it is worth going for some that you are really interested in but make sure to have maybe one or two "safety" choices just to be sure!

Good luck with your A-Levels! 🙏
