Would I get into veterinary medicine?

Here are my GCSE grades:
Chemistry 6
Biology 9
Physics 7
Maths 9
English literature 8
English language 8
Sociology 8
Geography 8
Art 6
Further maths 7
Spanish 7
Imedia L2D*

I am aware that many universities require a 7 and above for chemistry, however even the ones who say you only need 4s at gcse, will they write me off completely? Such as Edinburgh, Bristol, Liverpool, Glasgow, Aberystwyth. They say gcses at grade 4 and above,would I have a chance of getting into veterinary medicine??

Hi there,
Well done on your GCSE grades! Each university has an email for their admissions team, send each of them an email with your grades as you have done above and ask them if they meet their requirements, they may advise that it may be advantageous to resit chemistry to bring it up to a 7. But at least you will have a definite answer :smile:

Sometimes grade requirements can change each year, so that is something to be mindful of, however you have a great set of grades already.
