Any tips for the SAQ? Anyone know when it’s released and when it’s due to hand back in??🙂

I received the invitation to complete the SAQ at the end of September I think around a week after I submitted my application on UCAS.

Yeah I sent my application on 2nd of September. So honestly don’t worry! I’ve seen other people have received invitations to complete the SAQ within 24-48 hours of their application.

Oh alright! Thankyou so much! For some reason UCAS wouldn’t let me apply early. I was so confused by it all. I didn’t realize you could definitely apply in September already :smile:

I received my SAQ 24 hours after my application was submitted but I didn’t see it for two weeks as it sat in my junk file. I’ve completed it now 🫠

Very lucky! I was trying to lock a gate on the yard and was fumbling about which opened the junk folder. So so lucky!

it was due today i’m pretty sure. mine was sent to me via email. i reckon send an email to the admissions department asap to see if there was an issue on their end. did you get an acknowledgement email after you applied?

Nope no email of acknowledgement although I have from all the other unis. I have sent an email to admissions but they will not respond out of hours I presume. What will happen if I do not do it today?

for anyone curious: I completed my SAQ on the 8th of October. I sent them an email immediately after because there was an issue with the text box of the first question (I was under the word count slightly but there wasn’t enough space in the text box, so I emailed them the entire essay). They replied 5 days later saying the full answer was noted and my application was adjusted. So they are relatively quick at replying!

obviously i cant say for sure because i’m not a member of the admissions team, but i’m sure they’ll be very understanding and most likely just send you the SAQ, especially if it’s a problem on their end.
