Withdrawing UCAS Application

Hi!

I sent away my UCAS application back at the end of september because I needed to get that done before applications for university in my home country started. Now I am concerned. I realized more and more that I want to pivot outside of engineering/technology in my interest and more to advocacy and policy. If I withdraw my application will I be able to start a new one and change my choices? How should I handle this?

Should I contact the schools and ask if I could be considered for a different study?

Thank you!

No, you can't just withdraw/restart - you can only have one application a year. And you cannot switch any of your Uni choices this late either. What you can do, is ask if you can switch to different courses at the same Unis that you have already applied to - just check the requirements for the other course, then phone/email each Uni and ask.
