Can i get into Medical School with these?

I’m taking Chemistry a level, Psychology a level and Medical Science BTEC but i’m trying to go to biology. Do I need biology or if I do great in all of these will it be fine?

Hi! Different universities will have different requirements, I'm sure. I can say that for University of Nottingham, we would not accept a BTEC and Biology or Human Biology would be needed. Hope this helps, #UoN Official Rep Karen 🙂@uniofnottingham

Maybe you could choose a degree that is similar to medicine? Take a look at different courses and different universities to help give you an idea of what to apply for and what your subjects suit most.

Best of luck!!

You need 3 a levels to do medicine. So yeah, try to get into biology, it;s not late at all.
If your gcses are bad, reconsider your motivations for medicine because most unis care about them and it's only getting more competitive each year.
Those a levels take up a lot of time for revision and you would need As and above ideally if you get offers...

couple gateway years allow btecs but that’s only if you fulfil the contextual criteria checkout Plymouth for example. if your heart is set on med there’s always an alternative route to get there don’t listen to people telling you to go down another path, you got this  good luck
