Is 3 Level 3 Qualifications, An AS + an EPQ too much?

Hiya, I'm a current Year 12 student that lives putting himself under a lot of pressure as you can tell

I currently study:
- A-level Psychology
- A-level Sociology
- BTEC Business

+ Loosely AS French but I'm going to focus on it more in Year 13 when timetabled hours should be better (currently only 2 hours a week)

However, I'm wanting to do an EPQ in the importance of personal finance in Year 12 then really focussing more on the AS French in Year 13 alongside my 3 subjects.

Has anyone else done anything similar and would recommend it or not?

Thank You !

That sounds like it’s going to be a lot honestly. If you can handle the workload, then sure, why not?

did three a levels, core maths in y12 and epq in y13. found it very manageable x

Do either the AS or the EPQ - not both. And be prepared to drop whatever you choose if it all becomes too much work/stress later.

Remember, no Uni 'prefers' applicants taking an EPQ or an extra AS - its not going to be the deal breaker in any offer decision. And that that you can keep your French language skills up to speed without doing an AS - Duolingo etc, and most Unis offer extra-curricular language classes that you can do alongside any degree subject, ie. Languages for All - Department of Language and Linguistic Science, University of York

That's what I'm thinking! I am quite an academic person so hopefully it should work out okay!

Plus I won't have any Business exams at the end of year 13 as they do them in the middle of the course
