Try Woody Maths but it costs £140 for the entire A-Level but is like having one to one tuition through videos pre-recorded and you can e-mail Woody any questions too. 🙂

Otherwise I suggest on YouTube:

ExamSolutions
BicenMaths
TLMaths
HindsMaths

hi @(Blue) if you can still talk to your teachers I would recommend you ask to speak to your teachers after class and ask if you could have a chat about your grades and how to improve them. You can go over your past papers and see what it is you mainly struggle with as this will give you advice that's tailored to you. It's better to work on the specific stuff you struggle with from this tailored advice as that is how you will see the biggest improvements the fastest. If you don't feel comfortable asking them, are there any other maths teachers in the department you think could help? Speaking to your own tutor will help as well as maybe they can reach out for you or they have advice from dealing with similar situations before.

Hope this helps!

No, Madas is no longer recommended because it has not been updated since the website owner died some time back.

I would sign up to Dr Frost, it's free. He's a teacher and he covers the whole course.

To be honest, I still found Madas very useful, I achieved A* in math(94% pure,98% mechanics )this year and got A* predicted grade in Further math, it help me a lot. All alevel maths paper and some alevel further math paper had been updated before the owner died in 2021.Since the syllabus and questions hadn’t been change a lot during past years , so they are still similar to the actual exam. They also are challenging and some of them are similar AEA math and TMUA, so for a student who want to get A* , it is a nice website and you can find mock papers , practice problems and extension resources. But as time goes by, it will no longer be a suitable website.May be just two years later😭

I actually like Dr Frost. It covers all courses and has a lot resources for revision and self-study.It also has resources for ukmt ,MAT and maths interviews. However I not really sure if you can find more practice problems in Dr Forst ,when I used it to study further math ,I only can find 4 or 5 hard problems (level 3 and 4), that was not enough

Here,“All alevel maths paper and some alevel further math paper had been updated before the owner died in 2021”,I mean the mock paper not past paper

I teach Maths and we get plenty of A* without any use of Madas - it's not recommended any more - 5 years is a long time for things to change.

What about all the Edexcel additional resources? Your teacher can share masses of stuff - shadow papers, extra questions - enough to keep anyone busy.

The shadow paper are mostly same as the past paper.I did some practice paper made by exam , they are good resources. In my opinion,if you can did every single question in the textbook, especially the two revision module questions and challenge ,then get some practice on past papers, that's actually enough to get A*😀.So focus on textbook is also a good choice.

Yes,I agree with you,5 year is a long time for thing to change.I thought the edexcel made some new styles questions on paper two this year. However the paper one is terrible. There are many questions just copy from 2022 and change the number on paper1.This also happened in the IAL math exam in China this year.I knew that they choose the question from different past paper and made new one, for me it was ridiculous .

Teaching maths and physics is one of my dream job. What is you hardest part of your teaching experience? I actually found to explain some basic algebra low or integral low to the student who doesn’t have good foundations in maths and can’t understand the basic law is hard.

I think the hardest part is students who think they know it all! These students think they will get an A* without any work or following up on areas of weakness.

I've taught all abilities from those who are likely to get the lowest GCSE grade to STEP/MAT Oxbridge candidates.

I’m in Year 12 and currently don’t have a proper teacher, just a substitute. We’ve already covered so many chapters, and we recently had a test where I got below 50%. Honestly, I thought I’d do even worse, but it made me realise how little I actually understand. I feel like I’m missing a lot of content as when I look at most questions, I don’t even know where to start or what to do. Sometimes I can’t even tell what the question is asking. It’s becoming a real concern. I’ve been thinking about getting a tutor, but I can’t afford one or any kind of paid subscription.
