I don’t know if this data could really help you even if anyone on here had it.

First, there is no published mark scheme so you’d be looking at a number without an understanding of what that represents.

Second, the answer is going to change year on year.

Finally, whether to interview someone will depend on a range of factors and not just the test score. Someone with a low score may have other exceptional aspects of their application which made the tutors want to give them a chance at interview. Someone else might have a very high score but be predicted 3 Bs and not bother to submit their written work (which does happen). So the number in isolation doesn’t tell you very much about the shortlisting process.

The vast majority of applicants for Classics get an interview, so it’s more likely than not that you will.

Hi there, I found this which should answer your question - it has all the stats from the last admissions cycle (you'll find the CAT statistics on the third page 🙂). https://www.merton.ox.ac.uk/sites/default/files/inline-files/Classics%20Admissions%20Report%202024-5.pdf It looks like most people get an interview anyway - something like 95% - so don't stress yourself out too much! The CAT is only one element in the process.
