This is the thread for people who are thinking of applying to Sheffield Hallam for 2026! :smile:

Here are a few suggested opening questions:
1) What A Levels are you doing (or other eligible qualifications)?
2) What course do you have your eyes on? And why?
3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?
4) Why Sheffield Hallam specifically?
5) Will you be attending any Open Days?
6) How are you feeling about starting University?

Hi I’m Oyin:smile:

1.

I am currently doing A level Business, Theatre Studies and Music and I completed last year AS level Core Maths and got an A :smile:)))

2.

I want to study real estate at Sheffield because I love property development and I want own my own chain of agencies/ estate portfolio

3.

I’m predicted to get A* for Business, B for Theatre Studies and A for Music

4.

I love Sheffield it’s such a nice, affordable city and I’ve heard Sheffield Hallam is a great university for unconventional courses like real estate

5.

I will be attending the 23rd November open day 🙂 (I’m really excited)

6.

I’m excited to start Uni and meet people outside my area and be a bit more independent as my parents are very strict and protective 😅

7.

I’m also looking at Northumbria, Nottingham Trent, Coventry and University of Manchester :smile:

hiii🙂 and yeah that's so cool! i've got my offer and appied for accommodation and im going to the march 21st open day just to look at the school agian

How long from when you sent through your application did u get an offer? I sent mine quite late so hopefully I'll get a notif soon. Looking at accom too- leaning towards winn and LIV
