Bath Spa, Gloucestershire, York St John, Winchester, Chichester, Cumbria etc. They were all Teacher Training Colleges before they got Uni status and they still excel at this.

Thank you so much!
Hi @Flower-koala 👋

We are a small campus university in the North West of England. We are located in the town of Ormskirk and are a short train ride away from Liverpool and Manchester. You can find out more about our location here. Our campus has beautiful green spaces and modern accommodation options.

We also offer a Primary Education with QTS degree and are rated Ofsted Outstanding for Initial Teacher Education. You may wish to chat to Patrick, who is a current student on this course, to learn more about the department and the student experience.

You can come and visit us at our upcoming Open Day on Saturday 15th November. You can book your place here. During the event, you can look around the campus, meet academic staff and speak to current students.

I hope this helps do let us know if you have any further questions 😊

Hi,

Heya,

Liverpool Hope could be the perfect fit for you!

We're a very small uni, with around 5000-6000 students in total. Our beautiful main campus is called Hope Park, and is located in the leafy suburbs of Liverpool.

Our QTS courses are very popular, with University originally existing as 3 teacher training colleges, so it's very much in our roots. Primary Education (5-11) with QTS or Early Education Primary (3-7) with QTS may be of interest to you.

Hope was voted First in the North West in 2025 for:

Teaching on my course

Learning opportunities

Assessment and feedback

Academic support

Student voice

Students’ Union representation of academic interests

Communication about mental wellbeing support services

Freedom of expression

We were also voted 3rd in the North West for our Education courses!

Please let me know if you have any questions. You can book an Open Day here!

All the best,
Ella 🙂
