Earth Sciences

I’m a year 13 student applying for Earth Sciences at Oxford and I was wondering if anyone had tips for the interview or how to prepare? Or any other students applying for earth sciences

Practice thinking out loud. During the interview you will be expected to talk about the question and articulate your answers to two ppl you've never met before. This in itself can appear a little daunting, especially when they're world leading experts in their field. Break the question down into smaller bite size chunks instead of diving in and attempting to provide a complete answer in one go. The questions will be more aligned to basic science instead of anything too geological. Expect at least one maths type question.
Out of curiosity what is it about the Oxford Earth Sciences course that appeals to you?
