Do 2 Access to Higher Education Diplomas equal 6 A-levels?

I want to take a psychology one this year, and a humanities one next year. I have the time and energy to do, and wondered if one replaces the other, or they both count on a UCAS form?
I want to apply to study music, and am taking grade 8 music theory seperately. I was hoping to apply to university in 2027

That’s a really exciting plan, and it’s great that you have the energy and motivation to pursue both subjects. You can absolutely apply for Psychology this year and then a Humanities subject like Music in 2027 each UCAS application is tied to a specific entry year, so applying now won’t affect your ability to apply again later. They don’t replace each other, and both applications count separately. You can’t usually study two full-time undergraduate degrees at the same time, but you can finish one and then apply for the next, or reapply later if your plans change. Taking Grade 8 Music Theory is a great step and will strengthen your future Music application, especially if you gain performance or composition experience alongside it. At London South Bank University (LSBU), we offer strong Psychology degrees and encourage interdisciplinary learning while we don’t offer a Music degree, your interest in both music and psychology could align with areas like music therapy, arts and health, or cultural studies.
