What is the best way to self-study A-level Economics

I'm currently in year 12 studying maths further maths, and physics (Plus an Econ related EPQ). I am really passionate about studying a degree in either maths or economics at a top five university (Especially Cambridge or LSE). Unfortunately, I am unable to pick up A-Level Economics at school due to the class being full. I am definitely intrigued on the idea of sitting Econ outside of school, and have had a brief look at courses. If anyone here has already sat economics or is currently studying it, what courses or websites would you recommend. And also, if I put in a great amount of effort, could it be an option to sit it after only one year.

As much as people say Economics isn’t “common sense”, it is to an extent. If you are familiar with the fundamentals or did Economics at GCSE, the start of the course will feel like a breeze. Th content only starts to ramp up in A2 and I would recommend you go to your economics teachers in your school to ask them for whatever you need. Get started on it, and assess your possibilities of exams as you progress.
