Super-curricular activities - watching youtube videos

Might be a bit of a stretch, but would watching educational YouTube videos on your chosen subject count as super-curricular activities?
I personally would as long as they're from a well researched channel, e.g. Sci Show.

I wouldn't count them as curricular per say but it is good cuz it shows you have interest in the area and have built strong foundation knowledge which will prepare you for you course. If you really wanna do something super-curricula them maybe sign up to a webinar in that related course i think that would look better?
