Need Help for IGCSE Choices

Hi,
I am in Year 10 and honestly, I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I always dreamt of being a physicist or Engineer, but I am in a point in my life where I think it is not going to be possible. I also thought of Medicine or Biomedical engineering, but I'm still so lost in thought.
For IGCSE I took:
1. Maths
2. English Literature
3. English Language
4. Triple Science (Bio, Chem and Phys)
5. Geography
6. Arabic
7. ICT
I am Egyptian and honestly, like I said, have no idea what to do. I have been constantly thinking about my subjects as worthless and not applicable to my dreams. I also took a BTEC in Performing Arts which just made my mental health worse. I talked to my Physics Teacher and he said that ICT is way too old and outdated, and that I should have chosen Computer Science, he tells me to change the subject. I fear that it might be too hard for me because I don't know how good I am at coding and have tried it before with a bad teacher.
I don't know what to do, Egypt accepts 8 O Levels but I am afraid that Computer Science is the best subject to choose from as it will help me in engineering in the future. I might go to another Uni somewhere else but that just makes me more afraid because they don't usually like ICT as much as Computer Science. Any help or anything will be appreciated pls ;(

Not sure what exam board you are on for Computer Science but I would switch - I don't think I've ever seen someone do ICT, though if the main concern is an outdated spec CS isn't much better at that. Your other choices are not too limiting in terms of future career path though so I would stick with those and take the next 2 years to decide what you want to do.

In My School, we have Edexcel IGCSE CS, I don't know how hard or easy it is but I am good at physics but am scared CS will be too hard. I don't want to waste my time coding and leave the core subjects.

I don’t understand how the Egyptian school system works so take everything I say with a pinch of salt(I just finished my GCSE not IGCSE) but all I know is computer science>ICT. If you have good teachers computer science is worth it but if not, or you really struggle with it or simply just don’t want to do it, pick something else you enjoy or are good at and really focus on getting a top grade in maths. Top grade in maths will get you far further in engineering than compsci (for GCSE at least). Also you still have 8 other IGCSE for uni to look at so maybe ICT won’t matter as long as you do very well in the rest.
