Lacking motivation

Any tips? I’m applying to unis with a great set of predicted grades (A* in art A* in history A in physics) but I’m losing all motivation to work. I havnt been doing as great in school and I have a new art teacher who I’m just not vibing with that well (she completely insulted my work by saying she would’ve predicted me an A and disagreed with some of the feedback my previous teacher had made). By the way I’m completely happy with a A in art but it was her patronising tone and they way she phrase it which was really rude. Just feeling incredibly down, losing the will to do any work and my grades and now teachers are making me miserable. Any advice

I mean I’m not doing the same subjects but that really sucks I have a similar situation with my biology teacher like it’s fine cause I’m doing well but she’s has absolutely no sympathy if you are doing badly I think you might just be burnt out plus the fact that u already did well means that you feel that you don’t need to worry( I think I’m just guessing) I’d say make a study timetable it’s always hardest to start it can be like tiny amounts like 20 mins per day just make sure you are consistent and think about what you want afterwards you probably need good grades to get there if that’s any bit motivational lol .Anyways, don’t stress out too much and good luck! You can do it!!))

Sometimes unfortunately you have to separate the subject from the teacher, don't let her influence your effort and work. Maybe have a discussion with a teacher from another subject, its nice to have support from staff and advice.
Now winter depression will start to kick in motivation is even more easily lost, but i'd personally find ways to calm yourself and relax from school. Maybe evenings doing your art with calming music, or joining the gym- just small things that will regain your focus.
Approach work with small steps, dont let yourself get overwhelmed especially in the most heavy year of school, maybe plan yourself a plan for the day of work you could complete in your frees to catch up from those annoying teachers, so you can have a relaxing after school. Also plan things to do outside of school with friends, I think for some reason school instills into our brain that we have to be revising and studying non stop but it will be unproductive if its done for long periods of time or in periods of exhaustion- have fun and dont feel guilty!!

Thank you so much 🙂 Definitely would say I’m burnt out. I’ll start with trying to make a revision timetable and hopefully that will get me back on track. Good luck for biology too!

Thank you so much! I’m trying to meet up with friends it’s just tricky finding the balance cause I have a job as well. Defo need to work on separating subjects from teachers
