Funding for 2nd healthcare degree

Good morning,
I’m currently in my 2nd year of mental health nursing and I’m really not enjoying it and don’t think this is the right course for me. If I withdrew my place and reapplied for midwifery at Lincoln university, 3 year course starting September 26 would it still be funded through SFE for tuition and maintenance loan?

Hi there,
This course is classed as an exception course and we would not take your previous study into consideration when assessing your application. You would be eligible for the Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Loan and Supplementary Grants if applicable to you.
