Hi there,

Can you confirm when the course would start and what university you want to attend. Is it just an undergraduate qualification that you already hold?

Thanks, Drew

Hi there,

If you already hold an equal level qualification then you would only be eligible for the Maintenance Loan. You will not be eligible for the Tuition Fee Loan.

Thanks, Drew

Someone on live chat said its an exception course ?

Hi there,

Yes it is classed as an exception course however it is only for the Maintenance Loan and not the Tuition Fee Loan. As you have an equal level qualification usually you would not get another Maintenance Loan but as it is an exception you will. We will not give you another Tuition Fee Loan.

Thanks, Drew

We can't award the Tuition Fee Loan in any circumstances for a full-time Social Work course, unfortunately.

However, we'd definitely recommend that you speak to the university's Finance team: they should be able to offer help and advice, or point you in the right direction.

Thanks, Graeme
