Maths resit ( November- higher)

I would like to achieve grade above a 4 /5 the resit is in 17 days. I am off school as I have broken for the half term. How many hours should I put in if I want to achieve a grade 6+

Hi,

Since you’re off school, I’d recommend doing around 3–4 focused hours a day. Spend the first few days going over the topics you struggle with most, then move on to past papers and timed practice. Make sure to review your methods and mistakes carefully, that’s where real progress happens.

A really useful website is MathsGenie, which has videos, topic-by-topic questions, and exam papers.

Remember, it’s more about the quality of your revision than the number of hours you put in. You’ve got this!

Good luck with your revision

Thanks so much! Do you think like lots of practice papers, seeing how to answer the question then re attempt

Yes, I’d recommend doing topic by topic questions when covering your weak areas and then moving onto full past papers, when confident with all content. Reviewing your mistakes, comparing to mark schemes and re-attempting questions are also important.
