UCAS offers

I submitted my UCAS a few days ago and haven’t got any offers yet. But my friends who have applied, got offers the day after and now have 2-3 offers each. Should I be worried?

Stop worrying. This isn't a race. Unis all process applications differently and when you get an offer means nothing significant at all. Try to stop checking your phone - it will drive you nuts - especially since you could be waiting until next May to get all your responses.

Hi,

Don’t worry, UCAS decisions can take different amounts of time depending on the course and university. Some universities respond very quickly, while others take a few weeks to review applications. It’s completely normal not to hear back straight away.

Try to stay patient and keep checking your UCAS account regularly. You’ll hear as soon as a decision is made!

Hi @suave-sneak

You definitely should not be worried.

It may feel like a long wait, but it goes by quick! Personally, I received some offers within days of my application, then I received my last couple offers months later! It's important to remember, some universities wait until there is a larger pool of applications, or wait till after the January deadline.

Please do not let this concern you, they have so many applications to go through so it takes a lot of time! You will have the same fair chance.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia (University of Lancashire)

As above, don't be worried! 👍️

I sent mine off over a month ago but only had 1 response till today. Others I know who've sent theirs off far more recently have had 3+ responses.

It doesn't say anything at all about your application if you've not got an offer in x amount of time.
