Ran red light

Hi, I ran a red light last week near Frederick’s in Chorley - there are no cameras and I wasn’t stopped by police

Am I in the clear?

Give it another 12 days and we'll see. If nothing comes through the post then it's likely you're in the clear. Please don't make a habit of it.

You probably are.. unless it's an accident black-spot or a junction notorious for this kind of thing... where there may be extra / hidden surveyance. (although posting the exact location on a public forum, probably isn't in your best interests 🤫)

Depends if the OP is the registered keeper. I was caught by a speed camera doing 27mph in a 20mph zone when I was using a Zip car. It took about 3 weeks for the paperwork to come through. Luckily, I was offered the chance to take the Speed Awareness Course... but yeah, if you're driving a hire car (or a vehicle on foreign reg-plates), you're better off leaving about a month before you can be sure you got away with it.
