and yah I hope we get the letter tomorrow or Tuesday latest, really getting to the point where I am finding it hard to wait any longer. Strongly considering giving Queen's College a call to find out. :s-smilie:

I'm out of the country, as well--hopefully my helper's checking the mail regularly - -;; (*cough* no chance. need to call overseas like everyday)

would there be any point in calling them? I know sjc is closed until the 5th--the same day as school starts. Damn.

That's really mean of them not to email. Last year they emailed me and sent a letter and I only live in France!

I haven't received anything either! And all my other friends seem to have received the results of their applications, so I'm not quite sure what to think haha.

I just sent the admissions tutor an email to enquire though. Ah.

I did the same and they replied immediately saying they had already sent the mail and they were sorry it hadn't reached so they were resending an email..so hopefuly not to long to wait for you :smile:

okay, update.

The admissions tutor replied saying that all letters (for Magdalen college) had been sent out by 19th December, but my letter had bounced because they had typed the wrong address into their database.

Apparently the first line of my address was too long for their system -.-

anyway they offered to fax the decision letter over (because they apparently are not allowed to notify students of decisions by email) so I'm presently waiting for their fax

(hope this helps the rest of you in some way)
