Confirmation emails

Hey guys i feel like this is really silly, but my UCAS was sent off 2 weeks ago now and still two of the unis I’ve applied to (notts and Durham) haven’t emailed to say they’ve received my application. I know this is normal but all my friends who have also applied there HAVE got an email and even offers now, and its also worrying me because i have had to send off my ucas twice because my school sent off the wrong predicted grades and the first time they both emailed me back in 24 hours. Am i being irrational + what should I do to make sure its ok

Hi @Camillecarn1 ,

It's totally normal to be stressed around this time and wonder if things are all going as they should, even after you've done your part.

If i had to guess, maybe because both of those universities had already emailed you to say they had received your original application, that may be why they might just not resend confirmation emails about that. However, if you are feeling worried, I would suggest, maybe ask your school to check if they can see that the updated applications have gone through properly and been received.

I hope you get an answer soon!

This is normal. Firstly, many Unis don't download new applications from UCAS every day, some may only just have started look at new applications - and some don't send acknowledgement emails.

I don't quire understand what you mean by 'sent off my UCAS application twice' - schools can only submit your application to UCAS once and cannot adjust predicted grades or anything else once they have done this.
