Gap year and applying to Uni

im currently taking a gap year instead of starting uni, and im wondering if i have to redo a UCAS application to be able to apply through clearing next year?
Are there any other routes aside for submitting another UCAS application?

Why are you going to wait for Clearing? If you have achieved grades you should be applying now to maximise your chances. And yes, you do have to make a new UCAS application if you are reapplying this year, for the main cycle or for Clearing.

Yes, if you’re planning to apply again next year, you’ll need to complete a new UCAS application for the next admissions cycle, even if you previously applied.
Clearing is only open during the summer for the current year’s entry, so for next year’s entry, you’d apply through the standard UCAS route. You can visit our website to know more update - Home - Canterbury Christ Church University
