Work

Hi, I hope you guys are well. I have a question. What do you do if someone at work is being really horrible to you and everyone at work just sees it as ‘banter.’

My suggestions are as follows:

1.

First, trust your intuition.

2.

Set some clear boundaries right away.

3.

Try talking to the person alone and keep calm.

4.

Keep a record of what's going on.

5.

Speak with your boss or someone in the HR office, if there is one in the company.

6.

Look for any patterns that keep reoccurring.

What kind of behaviour is this? That might help me give you better advice.

Tell them to stop, you don’t like it. If you can’t do that or it doesn’t work, get some advice from your boss or HR.
