Is it over?

I am in Year 12, Studying Maths, Physics Politics and Economics. I got 9999988776 (way lower than predicted) at GCSEs at a private school (ik its bad contextually).
I believe I can get 4 A* predicted and want to study some form of economics joint honours like PPE or Politics and Economics. I have been highly commended in an essay comp and also have had some work published.

Is Oxford/LSE/Warwick even possible or should I just try reapply with achieved grades after A levels because of my GCSEs?

Not a problem at all I think, although 4*s is an incredibly hard feat to achieve (coming from 3A*s here ) and it’s not something that you can say will happen especially given teachers. But cause you got 7 8s and 9s that’s what really matters. It’s technically only one grade below the average oxbridge offer holder’s GCSES but that’s honestly means that you have a good shot at oxbridge so don’t even think about ruling out LSE and Warwick.
