personal statement help ucas - can I repeat things

can i mention something in the third question that ive already mentioned in my first? my volunteering led me to decide i wanted to pursue this certain degree but obviously volunteering is mentioned when answering the third question -- just wondering as the character space is very limited and my teachers have given me differing opinions on what to do ab it

Yes, that’s absolutely fine, you can briefly mention your volunteering again if it’s relevant to your answer. Just try not to repeat the same detail word-for-word; instead, link it to how it influenced your decision to study the course. Hiya @chloedyat

Maybe you could try to frame it differently in third section, draw upon different skills, qualities that this experience has given you. Try and focus on which parts of that experience best answers each question rather than repeating any information due to the tight word count.

If you need any other advice for writing your personal statement then i’m happy to help!
