I need answer quick pls!!- rhul

Hey so I’m about to put my choices in my UCAS form, does royal Holloway allow you to apply for up to 3 of their courses as I really like their joint honour degrees and I’m not looking to go to a uni far way from me?

Thank you!

Which three degrees?
Are they very different or similar subjects?

You can apply for different courses at the same university, however the same question as above, are they similar courses?

Its worth checking with RHUL how they manage admissions for these courses - if they are all grouped together, especially the two two HoA options, you may actually be applying for exactly the same course multiple times. Often there are courses with multiple pathways options where you are all actually taught together as one group and therefore you would get an offer for the base course and be able to decide on a specific pathway later. This all means that you could be wasting choices on RHUL. Just email them and ask.

And btw, there is nothing to stop any applicant applying to multiple courses at any one Uni - there are no 'rules' abut this and you could apply to 5 courses at the same Uni. The only thing holding you back is being able to write a relevant PS for all the courses without it looking a total mess.

Its also worth remembering that any joint-subject course will of necessity mean that you are not studying the whole course in either subject - you will only do half the units that anyone doing just one of these subjects. This can be further restricted by timetable clashes and unit prerequisites that can really limit the units available to you and this can be very frustrating.
