please help!! cambridge english literature written work

hi!! i have to submit written work by the 5th november for english lit at cambridge but i have no clue what to submit. my english essays from last year were good but they say that we should prioritise year 13 work. i've written two sub-standard dracula essays so far and i really don't want to submit them, but i might have to. does anyone have any advice?

You should go with your best work even if it’s from yr12. It’s not uncommon at all to find yourself in this position as an Oxbridge applicant who is in the early stages of the current school year and it will be assessed in line with the academic objectives set and in the context of the stage you were at when the work was completed. If your college hasn’t provided guidelines in reply to your application, check their website as most publish subject specific details on the requirements of submitted work.

do you know what kind of thing you should write in "assistance received"? if the teacher went through a possible structure in class, is that kind of thing relevant?

Hi, You should discuss this with your teacher and they will be able to advise you on how best to respond. Cambridge understand very well that your work has been done under the supervision of your teacher.

What instructions have you received from your college on their requirements?

I haven’t been sent any email for written work should I email the college I am getting very worried!!!

Yes I would call the college at this point .Also check website for what they want from you.
