Learning GCSE Edexcel Chemistry by myself - how to do this?

Hey!

I was wondering if I can have any tips on learning GCSE Edexcel Chemistry by myself in a year?

Currently im using cognito videos with the cgp book and specification for content, with PMT and access tuition for exam questions.

Is relying on this to learn the whole content enough? Is there any other sites that I can use to make sure I actually have a good grasp on the content from the videos?

Im worried I may be missing things.

I've looked at study mind's GCSE course which has videos I can use- does anyone know if this is worth it?

Thanks!

This should be sufficient! Just make sure you practice lots of exam questions and know the content well! Use cognito, free science lessons and maybe try pmt flashcards and educake to reassure yourself. Try combined science chem questions as well and ones from different exam board ones ONLY WHEN you have finished the edexcel ones. Leave some past papers from edexcel to do before your exam.

Agree with scarygirl2 100%. I've found that textbooks that are written by the exam board themselves or endorsed by the exam board always have the content that will be tested on the exam. Some other resources may miss some small parts out, but if you're using a wide range I wouldn't worry too much. Past papers are a gold mine!
