PLEASE HELP! MA History students who got 80+ in their dissertation

Hey everyone! Bit of a long shot, but I’ve found myself in an impossible situation. I messed up really badly with my essays after spending 2 months in hospital, I need a Distinction overall and it’s essential for PhD funding (yes I have thought about it, yes I still do want to really do it) and I’ve been advised against taking out a doctoral loan. But based on my calculations, I need at least 80 or above in my dissertation which seems impossible😭😭to make matters worse my uni hasn’t been the most supportive with taking my extenuating circumstances into account and it’s heartbreaking because these circumstances have been completely beyond my control.

Did anyone get 80 or above in their dissertation who would be willing to share theirs with me, please? I would be so so grateful and you would be helping me out so much! Thanks in advance xx

DISCLAIMER: I am not saying I am going to submit it as if it’s my own. I just wanted to see what a 80% and above dissertation is like so I can see the level of analysis that is required to achieve a grade like that.

I absolutely understand your situation as I had health problems while studying for my MA and it really set me back. What helped me was to break my dissertation down into smaller, more manageable goals, and also working with experts. I used The Academic Papers UK for academic editing and feedback; they helped me understand how to strengthen my arguments, and how to edit for consistency across the work.

Please remember that not everyone on TSR is who they say they are -and this is a favourite tactic of essay-mills to get work they can then make ££££ out of by selling it on.

Covered this in your other thread but anyone passing along a completed dissertation to help you would be guilty of academic collusion as would you by taking receipt.

McGinger does make a good point in that essay mills have been known to send an essay to someone and then blackmail them by threatening to disclose to their uni.
