Just saw someone on Reddit saying they got rejected from LSE already. Can they reject this early on?

It is very early! Did they fulfil all the requirements for the course they applied for? I applied Oct 11 last year and was rejected April this year

They said it was due to subject combination (econ business and maths)for econ and politics. I was really surprised they’d reject her that quick tho considering that sometimes they do make exceptions.

I see, that is super quick, many of the competitive unis don't like business and econ together, I did Maths, Econ and History but they didn't like my PS (Econ and Politics)

Idk if it’s the same for IB but I know multiple people who have gotten in doing business and econ HL (maybe business in A level and IB r different). Also they usually say they don’t like it bc of the overlap but I don’t see any big overlap in the IB syllabus besides PED + goals of a firm

LSE say on their website that they don’t like overlapping subjects such as Economics and Business at A level (For PPE but I assume maybe the same for politics and economics?) And it also says that business studies is a non preferred A level but as you say maybe this is different to IB?
