Manchester vs Warwick vs Edinburgh for msc marketing

Hi! I’m struggling to choose my master’s in Marketing among Warwick, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

My first choice was Warwick since its MSc Marketing Strategy programme is ranked the highest, and their career support seems great. But honestly, I don’t find the campus or Coventry very pretty. It’s only one year so not a big deal but as an international student, I’d love to experience a beautiful, traditional campus if other factors are similar lol. Also, its overall university ranking is a bit lower than the other two.

Edinburgh my favorite city, beautiful and traditional campus, but the courses seem more academic than practical.

Manchester a vibrant big city and pretty campus with a popular and well-known business school.

Warwick best MSc Marketing ranking, fun campus life with lots of societies, and close to London.

Do you think these three business schools are quite similar overall, and that I should focus on other factors instead? ( my first priotity is future career btw)

Thank you for your advice!

I think Warwick could be a very good option for you. The MSc Marketing Strategy course has a strong reputation and focuses a lot on practical, real-world marketing work, not just theory. Their career support also seems quite active, which could help with finding opportunities after graduation.

Some people say the campus isn’t the most beautiful, but it’s friendly and full of student life, so it still feels lively and social. It’s also quite close to London, which can be useful for networking and internships.

If your main goal is to build solid skills and start a career in marketing, Warwick seems to offer the right balance. But it’s still worth thinking about where you’ll feel happiest day to day, since that can also affect how much you get out of the year.
