Offer for common law from Glasgow

Hi everyone!

I am really happy that I got a conditional offer from Glasgow. The grades are not a worry, however I am aware that they said my LNAT needs to be satisfactory. I understand that they set a new minimum every year but does this mean my LNAT is in the 18-22 range? If so my other university applications are unlikely to go anywhere as they all require 25+ in LNAT. All of my practices were around 28+ so if it was an 18 I have really messed up haha.

Just wondering if any applicants to Glasgow Uni from last year could share what this actually means? Does everyone get told this condition?

Good afternoon,

I hope you are doing well.

Thanks for getting in touch regarding the LNAT. The scores will be determined after the UCAS deadline has passed on January 14th 2026. Although they do fluctuate year-on-year, students are advised that an average accepted score would be 23+ in the multiple-choice section.

Nina, one of our Scot's Law students put together this helpful guide for LNAT on our Unibuddy site. Check it out here - https://www.gla.ac.uk/study/studentlife/askastudent/?unibuddy=blog/post/6514bad8be89d3000c958f24

Hope this has helped, please do reach out if you have futher questions

Thanks,
Niall

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know when the LNAT scores will be published by Glasgow? I have recieved my offer for Scots Law but does this mean that they don't know if my score is satisfactory yet? I thought that Glasgow already had my score so I'm confused on this condition as shouldn't I have already met this requirement to receive an offer?

Thanks.
