Switching from Maths to Engineering at Imperial?

I've got a Warwick Morse offer but think I'd enjoy engineering more, especially at Imperial. Is it risky to withdraw and reapply? Has anyone switched, or studied Imperial engineering—what's the experience and job outcome like? Is engineering more highly regraded than maths at uni?

Engineering is not more highly regarded then maths. Engineering generally has some of the best job prospects as it combines a lot of the access to the jobs seeking strong analytical fundamentals & problem solving skills but engineering also has access to specific jobs where you need the analytical skills plus specialized subject knowledge.

That said I don’t think any graduate from either Warwick MORSE or Imperial engineering would struggle in this department, both are very high upside from a career perspective. Pragmatically i would say if you’re interested in working or developing technological solutions i would lean engineering. Id also note pure mathematics graduates are probably in a more advantageous position when it comes to applying for very niche high salary positions in places like proprietary trading.

What do you mean by 'withdraw and reapply' ?
If you just want to switch course choice at the Unis you have already applied to, you need to just contact those Unis and ask for them to make that switch - you do not need to 'reapply'.

And what do you mean by 'highly regarded'?
By whom. And why does that matter.
